I’ve scattered shot before with my son, Andrew, and his friends, but a recent visit to the Sporting Clays Course at Seven Springs Mountain Resort (PA) was a whole new experience for me. The 17-station, 100 target course offered a challenging and fun shooting experience for this novice shooter. And this was only the temporary course. The permanent, state-of-the-art three-course facility is nearing completion. It will feature 42 stations, a practice area and two heated five-stands. The complex will have many great features, including a very large, beautiful pro shop. Hats off to the crew at Seven Springs. Director and Lead Instructor Mike Mohr and Level I Instructor Jeff McCullough were gracious hosts, and helpful mentors. You’ve got to experience this place, and meet some of the finest shooting instructors around. Check out photos of my trip to Seven Springs on this site. I'll post them soon.
