A concealed carry handgun (CHL) class

A concealed carry handgun (CHL) class will be held on Sat. July 18th, 2009 at The Salem Hunting Club in Salem, Ohio.

This is a one day class that begins at 8:00am. The class entails 10 hours classroom and two hours range time with an NRA certified instructor.

Beginners as well as experienced levels welcomed.

100 rounds of ammunition will be required. It is preferable that you bring your own firearm, but there will be a couple available as needed.

Successful completion of this class meets all state requirements that will enable you to start the application process to receive your concealed handgun license.

Ohio River Catfish Tournament

Ohio River Catfish Tournament - (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) in Chester, WV. Sponsored by Chester Newell Sportsmen's Club. $10 entry fee, 60% payout; first place (longest fish) gets 30% and 30% payout to blind draw catfish by a number between 18"-36".
