Great day for walleye fishing

June 8, 2009
Ohio Valley Outdoors
PORT CLINTON, OH — Lake Erie charter captain John Tucholski, owner of J.T. Sport Fishing Charters of Port Clinton, OH, hosted Ohio Valley Outdoors magazine and OV Times writers and staffers last month for a walleye trip.

With the weather perfect for sunbathing (sunny and in the low 80s); on the water drifting for walleye, it was not ideal. But Captain John kept us on fish all day until we limited out with several nice fish by early afternoon. The top walleye of the day was a nice 29 1/2-inch citation fish, caught by Jim Brys.

Contact J.T. Sport Fishing Charters by calling Tucholski at 216-256-6358 or visit his Website at jtcharters.com.

See more photos of this fishing trip in the June issue of Ohio Valley Outdoor Times, available June 15 on select newsstands.
