COLUMBUS, OH - The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance is searching for a few good men-and women-who live in Ohio and who have a strong interest in supporting and protecting our hunting heritage. Several programs are in need of volunteers immediately.
First, we are in the midst of building a network of sportsmen's clubs from coast to coast to provide a grassroots army to protect our rights. If you are a member of a sportsmen's club in Ohio, we need your help in speaking to your club about our organization and our club membership program. Compensation is available. If interested, please contact Chad Laman at 614-588-6522 or email email@example.com.
Additionally, the International Bowhunting Organization is holding the third leg of its Triple Crown Archery Shoot on July 13-15 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio (30 miles north of Columbus). Volunteers are needed for tasks ranging from registration to shuttle drivers. Meals, range passes and T-shirts will be given to volunteers. For more details, contact Jeff Watkins at 740-348-6631 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Another volunteer opportunity will put you on the front lines in introducing the next generation to our sports. The Trailblazer Adventure Program introduces youth and their families to an outdoor lifestyle. We are seeking volunteers to operate stations that teach about shooting, archery, fishing, trapping, hunting dogs, game calling, and more. Come share your talent and passion with the next generation. Numerous Trailblazer events are planned for late summer and this fall. We'd like to hear from you, and use your talents. Contact Kali Parmley at 614-888-4868 ext. 219 or email email@example.com.
Last, the 16th Annual Ohio Save our Heritage Rally will be held on September 29, 2012 in Columbus, OH. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up for the event and to work different stations during the evening's festivities. This is our largest fundraiser of the year with all proceeds helping to defend and advance hunting, fishing, trapping, and shooting in Ohio. Contact Tony Celebrezze at 614-888-4868 ext. 225 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As you can tell, there are many projects underway as the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance works to protect our state-and nation's-hunting heritage. Donating as little as one hour of your time will help. Don't delay, get involved today!
