AKRON, OH - Apparently there's a lot of people interested in coyote hunting and trapping these days. The free "Basics of Coyote Hunting/Trapping" Workshop, set for early February in Akron is now full and pre-registration is closed, according the the ODNR.

"We have a very long waiting list, therefore we are not taking additional "wait-list" pre-registration at this time," said Jamey Graham, Wildlife Communication Specialist of the ODNR, Division of Wildlife. "We encourage everyone to visit and view our calendar for future opportunities."

The Division of Wildlife will offer the free, informational workshop on coyote hunting/trapping. Wildlife biologists will cover very basic topics such as life history, calling techniques (call types and setups), appropriate firearms and ammunition, field sets, and scouting.
