Preppers Ball Set for Feb.13 at Summit County Fairgrounds

AKRON, OH - The Second Annual Preppers Ball (note: there's no dancing) will be held February 13 (2-6 p.m.) at the Arena Complex of the Summit County Fairgrounds. The event is hosted by

Bob and Karen Golic will be guest emcees. Bob Golic is a former Cleveland Browns player and current WNIR radio show host. Also featured appearances by Rob & Amanda of Eye On The Target Radio, Matt Lynch Pro 2A Congressional candidate, Steve Jones and Jack Kiser (OVO contributing writer) from 1350am radio and Maggie Fuller of KRMA is the website name for the group REALIZE firearms awareness coalition. They spend their time and money of pro 2nd amendment firearms education, including two weekly radio shows titled Eye On The Target Radio, seminars and events like the firearms appraisal fair and the Concealed Carry Fashion Show.

The annual Preppers Ball event is a fundraiser with a variety of things happening under its roof. There will be $10,000 in prizes, with tickets drawn every 10 minutes. Speakers, ranging from canning advice, to wine selection, to a former Navy Seal teaching hand to hand pointers. Several national organizations are sharing their philosophies for preparation, self-reliance and family preparation. You can gain pointers on surviving large scale civil unrest, or how to grill full meals without power or gas.

There is a $30 charge to attend, but this does include admittance, speakers and drawings for $10,000 worth of prepper prizes. Additionally there will be wine tasting, side raffles, and a large selection of vendors.
