GLENMONT, OH - One of Ohio's hottest outdoor adventure regions will be featured on Friday June 21, 2013 on the Animal Planet channel. Local businessman Kevin Mooney's unique treehouse brewery will be featured on a show called Treehouse Masters. The 'Treetop Taphouse' segment airs at 10 p.m. ET.
Mooney actually owns two treehouse cabins and three other cabins, called The Mohicans, which recently opened as fully furnished cabins to rent. The newest treehouse that will be featured on Animal Planet serves as a tasting area for the Treehouse Brewing Company's imperial pale ale. It's a new product, owned by Mooney's son, that's due to hit store shelves this summer.
Glenmont is located in the rolling hills of Mohican Valley, 1/2 mile off Wally Road and five miles south of Loudonville (Mohican County).

The most recent Treehouse Masters series opened on May 31 on Animal Planet. The show's host, Pete Nelson, is world-renowned treehouse designer and builder. Nelson was on site - working and filming - at The Mohicans when Mooney's final treehouse was being constructed by local Amish builders.
Mooney said a popular zipline resort is located next to his cabins, and many areas to fish, fly fish, mountain bike, hike and canoe. Mooney said he hopes to open the cabins in the fall for deer hunters.
The Mohicans' cabins are located at: 22650 Vess Road (Twp. Road 357) Glenmont, Ohio 44628. For information or to make reservations, contact Mooney at 440-799-3419 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Their website is: www.themohicancabins.com.
